Who is Michael Sukowski
He is a frequent speaker and presenter on the topics of faculty development, instructional design, instructional technology, learning space design, and electronic portfolios. Michael led the team
- that established the Office of Online Instruction and Instructional Technology at Chicago State University
- the Concordia University E-portfolio Resource and Assistance Lab for faculty, students, and staff
and is also a speaker on topics related to professional portfolios.
He was previously a presenter at the Annual SLATE Conference and the 5th Annual LiveText National Collaboration Conference.
Michael was named a SLATE Community Fellow and presented with the 2010 SLATE Star Award.

- InterRater Reliability: Training for Portfolio Reviewers, and
- Students Leading Students: LiveText Portfolio Basics.
He is a former board member and treasurer of CAFDN (Chicago Area Faculty Development Network), a former board member of CAAG (Chicago Area Assessment Group), and professional development committee chair,
and frequently hosted the SLATE (Supporting Learning and Technology in Education) webinars.
